Do you offer digital files? Morie Fine Art Portraits is a Fine Art Print Studio.

Our work is created with the belief that a portrait is meant to be lived with—not simply stored on a device. While digital files are available with select artwork collections, our focus is creating handcrafted heirlooms that become part of your home and your family's legacy.

Do you offer online proofing? We do not offer online proofing galleries. Your portraits are presented during a private Design & Ordering Appointment where we guide you through selecting your favorite images, artwork sizes, framing, and placement within your home.

Who should attend the selection appointment? Anyone involved in the artwork decisions should attend. This is where you'll make your final selections, and having all decision-makers present ensures the process is relaxed, enjoyable, and complete in one appointment.

What should we wear?  The attire recommendation is cocktail attire/Sunday best. Dress as if you are going to a formal ball, wedding, or really nice restaurant. This is a one-of-a-kind formal portrait that is meant to celebrate your family. As you are making your selections, keep in mind that traditional styles have a more timeless look than the trendier fashions.

What else do we need to do to prepare?

  • A few simple details make a meaningful difference.

    • Well-groomed hands and nails

    • Hair trimmed at least one week before your session

    • Classic hairstyles and accessories

    • Natural, timeless makeup

Our goal is for your portraits to feel as beautiful twenty years from now as they do today.

Are there age requirements for babies?

For the comfort and safety of our youngest guests, babies included in a portrait with an adult must be at least 7 months old and able to hold their head up independently.

Can we include our pets in the portrait? Absolutely. Pets are family, and we would be honored to include them. Simply let us know in advance so we can prepare accordingly.

Where should I hang my artwork?   Your portrait should be enjoyed every day. Many families choose an entryway, living room, dining room, or above the fireplace—places where the people they love most become the first thing they see when they walk through the door. During your Design Appointment, we'll help you choose the perfect size and location for your home.

What are your appointment policies? Portrait Experiences are available Monday through Friday by reservation only.

Because we reserve approximately two hours of dedicated studio time and coordinate our creative team for every appointment, a fully refundable $200 reservation deposit is required to secure your session. Your deposit is refunded in full when you arrive for your scheduled Portrait Experience.

If you need to reschedule, please call the studio at least 10 days before your appointment. Changes cannot be made by email or text. Appointments cancelled with less than 10 days' notice, or missed without notice, will forfeit the reservation deposit.
